How quickly does the doctor arrive at my home?
The medical team usually arrives within 60–120 minutes of phone confirmation, depending on traffic and availability. For priority requests we try to shorten the travel time and keep you updated on the estimated arrival time. In major emergencies call 112.
Which areas do you cover?
We cover all 6 sectors of Bucharest and the entire Ilfov county: Otopeni, Voluntari, Pipera, Bragadiru, Popești-Leordeni, Buftea, Chiajna, Pantelimon and every other town. For areas at the far edge of the county a travel fee may apply, communicated transparently by phone.
How can I pay for the medical services?
You can pay in cash or by card at your home, after the service is performed. On request, we issue an invoice — useful for reimbursement through private health insurance or corporate plans.
Do I need a referral?
No. MED24 services are provided privately, without a referral and without waiting lists. You call, we set the time, and the doctor comes to your home.
What are MED24's working hours?
We are available daily between 7:00 and 23:00, including weekends and public holidays. You can request a visit by phone, on WhatsApp or through the online booking form.
What happens if the doctor decides I need hospital care?
Your safety comes first. If the assessment reveals a situation beyond the scope of home care, the doctor recommends the right hospital or specialist, writes an evaluation note with the findings and, if needed, calls an ambulance for transfer.
